Optimum
Nutrition Whey Protein Review.
There's
so much to consider when constructing a workout program that
sometimes you need the help of a protein supplement to
get the best results. First things first, Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey
Protein offers just under 80% protein by its weight. Obviously
we all have different routines and different requirements, but
if you need a good helping of protein to reach your ideal mass, the
Optimum Whey package is hard to beat. I was first introduced to the
Optimum
Nutrition 100% Whey Protein range by a friend who spent most of his
time working out on Miami Beach, so I though I'd give it a shot.
Thankfully I wasn't disappointed at all. Here's what I found.
If you're used to
preparing protein supplements then there's nothing
to fear from using Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Protein.
If this is your first time, the instructions are clear and easy to
follow. Aside from being a good source of body fuel, a major reason to
use this supplement is to save time and efforts in preparing food, so
thankfully Optimum Whey Protein comes together
with very little fuss or hassle. You can have a shake mixed up and
ready to go before your chicken would be anywhere near ready! This
means that if you want a good source of protein quickly, the Optimum
Nutrition 100% Whey Protein range definitely comes highly
recommended.
Another
positive of
this product is how smooth the mix comes out, as some
protein shakes are very lumpy and not very attractive to
drink. Optimum Whey Protein is pretty refined which
means that even if you're using a spoon, the end result should be
smooth and easy to drink. Using the gym straight from work I
often mix my protein shake at work, so I don't
always have access to a mixer, but that's never an issue as you can
have the shake finished to the
standard you would buy in a shop.
Having
some consistency in your choice of protein supplement is a great thing
as it helps you get into a routine, but having the same flavor every
day can become tiresome and makes it harder to keep taking the
supplements. Like your bodybuilding routine; you need to
change it up regularly to stop the body and muscles from becoming used
to
the routine.
Thankfully, there's
an abundance of different flavors in
the Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey
Protein range which is enough to keep you interested and
motivated including 'Rocky Road,
Cookies & Cream, Root Beer Float and Tropical Pinch'
flavors! All without the chalky aftertaste that comes with
many of the lower quality supplements. Better flavor varieties open up
the possibility of using the protein
supplement in other ways too, such as in muffins or
pancakes. If you are struggling to absorb enough protein, changing
your protein intake can provide a new stimulus and these flavorings
add a little extra kick to your meal or snack.
The protein benefits
of Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Protein are well founded and that's
why it's one of the major industry products, but it's the simplicity of
use that helps it to stand out above the others. The ability to freshen
things up and add something new to the mix every so often is vital for
any bodybuilding
routine and Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Protein supplements are an
ideal accompaniment to any long-term routine.
